Background Philosophy

We aspire to nurture a university community where people connect and collaborate across disciplines to benefit the society.  A new extension of the campus will be much more than the simple sum of faculties and facilities.  It will be a place that fosters the integration of deep scholarly expertise with academic advancement, technology advancement and environmental sustainability.  Creating responsive infrastructure to support the University’s research, teaching and learning missions is a significant step in the University’s continued success as a community of learning and discovery.

4 Cs’ Concept

The 4Cs’ concept is adopted in the new campus development to facilitate different stakeholders’ needs and advancements.

Healthy and Smart Building

Our aim is not only to build a high-technology infrastructure, but also to establish a healthy campus hub with 9 foundational elements to achieve the first batch of “Healthy Buildings” accredited by World Health Organization (standard yet to be established).
